Hoi Tu event week once again affirms Thu Duc City's role as the new destination for monumental events

Hoi Tu Thu Duc Experience Arts and Culture Week, taking place from December 23 to 31, 2023, organized by Thu Duc City People's Committee and strategically sponsored by Son Kim Group, has attracted tens of thousands of people to come and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere to celebrate the New Year at The Metropole Thu Thiem - Saigon Riverside Park.

Taking place at a prime location between the foot of Ba Son Bridge and the Saigon River Tunnel, where heritage sites and The Metropole Thu Thiem project with modern and artistic architecture intersect, Hoi Tu Thu Duc Event Week has become a new destination at the end of the year, bringing people and tourists a unique cultural, entertainment and community bonding event.
 

 

The festivities commenced on December 23 with the inauguration ceremony of Saigon Riverside Park – Sunflower Field and a captivating performance by 3,000 students from Thu Duc City, eager crowds of all ages flocked to "Hoi Tu" to revel in the festivities, bask in the vibrant glow of bright yellow sunflowers, and soak in the panoramic views of the flourishing city along the Saigon River.
 

 

A standout feature of the festival in Thu Duc City was the spectacle of giant, colorful hot air balloons adorning the skies above Thu Thiem, injecting an extra dose of vitality into the atmosphere. Beyond the sheer excitement of witnessing and experiencing hot air balloon flights, attendees were thrilled at the prospect of conquering the skies and beholding the city's beauty from above through exhilarating paragliding experiences.
 

 

 

In addition, "Hoi Tu" emerged as the premier destination of  beautiful viewpoints, particularly of the enchanting sunset over the Saigon River and District 1. This sought-after spot garnered popularity amongst young visitors who came together to revel and catch up over a cup of coffee as the new year arrives.
 

Particularly on the night of December 31, the countdown music event "Burst of Spring" brought together a stellar lineup of renowned performers such as Juky San, Hoang Duyen, Kyo York, DATKAA, and Doan Hieu, complemented by a captivating fireworks display illuminating the skies of Thu Thiem, the moment when the atmosphere at "Hoi Tu" soared to its pinnacle, resonating with the city of Thu Duc and leaving indelible impressions on both residents and visitors.
 

Between musicl performances where the audience sang along to familiar tunes, the event featured dynamic dance performances set to the vibrant, explosive EDM beats curated by DJs ALBEE and LYMCHII. The lively atmosphere of the countdown music night, coupled with the grandeur of the fireworks illuminating the backdrop of The Metropole Thu Thiem, served as a jubilant conclusion to the Hoi Tu Event Week and the departing year of 2023, instilling hope and excitement for a new year in 2024 brimming with happiness and success.
 

The resounding success of Hoi Tu Event Week, drawing tens of thousands of participants, attests to the vision of Thu Duc City as it strives to evolve into an enticing cultural hub and destination for diverse audiences and tourists.
