1. Tendering work: 

a. For Consultant, Construction and Procurrement packages directly executed by SKL

• Search and select suitable Contractors / Suppliers / Consultants for short list preparation and submission.
• Prepare Tender document / RFP.
• Issue tender document, interview , evaluation and recommendation to award.
• Review design, feedback on tender clarification request, propose VE item.
• Contract Preparation and negotiation.

b. For Construction packages handling by QS Consultant:

• Coordinate with Consultants in preparation of Tender document, including review and finalize Contract terms & conditions, Specification, checking Tender scope of work, drawing and quantities.
• Participate in Tender procedure including planning and control tender time schedule, interview Tenderers, feedback Tender clarification request, review Tender Adendum, Tender report.
• Review design, feedback on tender clarification request, propose VE item.
• Prepare and submit recommendation to Awarrd.

 

2. Cost management work

• Monitoring project budget during the design, development and construction stages and notify / recomment to PD / PM for cost contral action
• Coordinate with Consultants to prepare / review cost planning , procurement plan, monthly project cost report or review reports from out-scource consultant and advise to PD/PM for further action
• Contract Administration including contract terms interpretation and advise to related parties, workdone certification, claim assesment, cashflow monitoring & update
• Value engineering study & recommendation from design stage to construction stage

 

3. Others

• Update the current construction cost and all applicable laws, regulations related to construction, houses
• Coordinate and support team members' work and guidance if necessary
• Perform other QS role in specific project as line Manager's assignment
