Project Manager

Job description

  • Prepare and develop the project plan & budget and specified timeframes to present to Project Director for review
  • Review and develop the process of the feasibility study conducted by the business development team and provide advice on the management of projects
  • Maintain relationship with other consultants, designers, contractors, construction and governmental legislation bodies to acquire the legal documents for the project execution
  • Make sure that all the aims of the project are met;Conceptualise the development strategy of the project for the development, seek approval from Project Director
  • Lead the planning and implementation of project as well as develop full scale project plans
  • Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors in resolving any unexpected project difficulties and other problems that may rise
  • Cover all aspects of a project from the beginning stages through to completion
  • Responsible for the successful completion of the project within the budget approved and specified timeframes
  • Assist Project Director to set the procedures to ensure the smooth handover of the project products to the clients and facilities management
  • Control and execute overall activities at site such as: progress of design, engineering monitor, progress of construction, safety, revised request of the ensure quality of project and comply with design standard
  • Work with the CM to set up the construction management manuals and seek for the approval from Project Director
  • Carrying out risk assessment
  • Coordinate  with Finance for all related support,  IT support at the site
  • Maintain and improve the relationships with all internal departments, suppliers, agents and contractors
  • Promote team works among subordinates and fellows staff
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Project Director

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineer, qualification in project management or equivalent; preferred MBA holder
  • Over 5 years of experience in project management, construction
  • Foreign language: English
  • Strong knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Overall knowledge of  architect, construction & structure, MEP
  • Proven experience in risk management & people management
  • Professional training certificates Project Management
  • Practicing certificate supervision of construction works
  • Willing to go beyond current assignment when required
